Also, here's a question, when writing our posts how limited are we? Since this game is so focused on "truths" how limited are we in terms of our narrations? Like can we only describe our actions within the scape of what you have described basically? That is unless we can say (via privilege) something about a situation or whatever.
I ask this because it might be very hard to do pBp.
edit: Or as long as we are keeping it open ended and aren't making big declarations?
basically mostly in the subjective realm and if we are throwing things out that are very loose and just lend ideas to you and don't seem like we are trying to create a GRAND PLOT.

Simon is right, it's first council of the spring
You're all there as the council, there may be other council members there. I haven't mentioned them, so apparently not until someone mentions them...
(What council members you ask? I don't know -- Wisdom Risk, spend wagers to tell me).
You guys can say whatever within reason for the scene. You want a table? Boom table. Table in the woods? Probably not. You want a servant with a pitcher of water? Boom, done. You want a servant with the poison cure? Whoa, sounds like a Risk.
You have complete liberty to narrate your interaction with the bland, common, and uninteresting around you. I set the scene, duh, and you interact with the elements of that scene -- you ask for more if you need it, or interact with presumed mundane and typical elements of the scene.
Wagers are for the truly outstanding elements of fiction; far-reaching elements. You want this castle to have secret passages? I mean, it's a castle, it probably does. You want to KNOW where they are? Wagers. You want to reveal bandits plaguing the village? Risk. You want to say there are farmers in the village? Well fucking duh, keep your Wagers.
This isn't that complicated. It's like any normal RPG. You play with what's given to you, except you get to twist everything anytime you make a Risk and spend Wagers.

If I ever get the chance to introduce Squid Vader as a reason part of the previous council got eradicated. Bam! Squid Vader.
+10 Credibility Points to Lord Byren
Also I still want to more about Spaghetti Anatole

Yeah, me too, but he's waiting for "inspiration" or something? so he'll just have to catch up I guess?
Or you should all post here telling him he's not writing the great American novel and its okay.

Also, I'm so disappointed none of had an anniversary present post or me. I was trying to think of something. I thought of my dude's appearance. He has a lain (serial experiments) braid along with chin length brown hair , a black leather vest, a olive cloak. Kinda debating what you call that thing you wear under vests that are armor. Also gauntlets that are tightly constricted. Also a pin on his cloak (not sure if it should be the sigil of his house or not). I was debating how paranoid he should be of the situation. And whether his first order of business would be a) asking when he gets a chance to kill Marcus Adrente b) if they should try and throw a party in Whiskey Forest c) get lost in the dark labrynth as Lord Byren hunts them for sport. d) distrust Adrente junior and see if the limp is real and look like a jerk ass.

Ideas for Anatole
- The Seer of Truth: The Man with the Fire Eyes.
- The See-er in the Darkness- similar to above. Why he is kept around. The Light Priest
- The War Priest- Gave the ships advanced weaponry (ALCHEMY!) and was there when the shipyards burned leaving him scarred but alive unlike many others.
- One of the Few Survivors of Byren's Old Brigade- The Trusted, the One with the Vision. One of the Few Sepias Left
- Rasputin like (would work if he was there when the shipyard burned)
- Adversary of the Known God/s | Potential Avatar: There is a reason Byren keeps you nearby.
just some ideas
Anyway I'll post after I get back and hopefully SOMEONE has posted Otherwise I'll post and hopefully if I'm the first poster , you'll forgive me if I make some mistakes

umm, not exactly sure if people are waiting on me to clean up my post. Just to clarify the content is gonna stay the same... pretty much. There won't be any drastic change of action for other people to react to if that's why people haven't posted.

So I just realised something: if we've decided that the Count has no legitimate heir, then how does JT's newphew-character fit into the succession?

also a tad curious. Wouldn't Antatole have to not be a Sepia? That is to say not have the surname Sepia, if he wasn't in line for succession. Since the daughter thing kinda established that females aren't eligible. If Anatole isn't a bastard then his dad is a legit Sepia and that would mean he is eligible, no? edit: yep was talking to simon about it

Maybe taking up the cloth prevents him from being an heir?
