I think that, if we're all members of the small council, we'd likely know of each other, at the very least.

Assume you all know each other well-enough -- you've each probably spoken passionately on a topic to the Count at least once since taking your job. The newest of you is probably Braeden, unless one of you has literally JUST fallen into your job. Likely it's a professional arm's-reach knowledge, unless there is more to it for whatever reason.
If you want to decide how you relate to each other real quick, go for it. Sorry I didn't think about this before, I've been busy and it threw me off, playing a game that doesn't straight up make you tie your characters together. Don't worry about making anything too in-depth or detailed -- Wagers will make the details for your relationships in-game.
I'm not currently using the War Timers, because we honestly kind of set House Sepia up to fail, and I figure I'll follow the letter of the rules and only start them once other houses are introduced in-game.
Otherwise, I'd set Adrente at War 9. We can do that if people want to, though.

is Anatole intentionally mysterious? I ask because of people are superstitious and I'm wondering if he is talking to you behind the scenes and he is suppose to be spooky or some such. edit: also what are some artistic and romantic reputation examples? like savant, paramour, etc? or flirt, master draftsmen? perfect gif:

Paramour, Ladykiller, Maneater, Glassblower, Master Potter, Master Painter, Woodcarver, etc things of that sort.
Also, no, I don't think Anatole is being intentionally mysterious, I just think JT has been busy and not participating.

I'll post my character intro in the morning-late afternoon. I take it this is a private ceremony and none of our servants and stuff are with us.
Did any travel with us and are we free to name them? I noticed others did, but I didn't. I'm sorta assuming none of the major ones, but double checking.

Perhaps not all of your servants, but a very small entourage would be expected. Your squire, for example, would likely be expected, as would Ricard's in all likelihood. Whatever company you bring, though, likely wont be attending the council meeting.
So yeah -- not many, or a few but no one major. Its really up to you -- maybe you bring more than is appropriate because you think you're a big deal! maybe fewer than is cool cause you're humble. its up to you.
Name any attendants if you so please! Make it happen!

Roll Courage to bravely demand he stop working on his thesis and play our fantasy game. I swear to god I will start bringing in post-exotic themes to my character. He'll start an antagonistic relationship with the reader. He'll bring about the end of capitalism. He'll be trapped in a prison with a bunch of other writers and get compared to Borges and set himself on fire. Also I apologize for being busy/lazy. I will update my character information as soon as the inspiration strikes me.

Out to dinner with my girlfriend for my two year anniversary. Won't be available. Surprise me with anniversary presents by everyone posting while I'm away from keyboard.

so I guess a few questions. This has prevented me from posting.
1) are we literally all there is of the "council" or officer-like rank? If not , I take it we are the only ones there?
2) are we there on any pretense? Or were we randomly summoned?

I believe this is meant to be us being summoned specifically for the first council meeting of the year, but I might be wrong
Also I think we are the entire "officer"-cadre, but Alfie might say otherwise

I think I'm gonna think of Adam's character as Scott Evil Also if there are no other "officers" or anything similar: this is the only explanation ....orOk Now I'm hoping there is a Secret Illuminati Squid WarriorOccult Assassin who utterly decimated the treacherous council members as they were planning to hand the province over to the Adrentes. If there are no other officers. Squid Helmet or Cthulhu-esque and all. Operating in the Shadows. (I note I want this, because I want our Leader to be semi competent ) (and or us being a semi-phantom council)
