so just to get a better idea. Does Silas like scaring particular individuals or just anyone? Obviously we want to have this lead somewhere interesting. But want it to remain consistent.

Subtle is best, I think. If Silas has any irons in the fire they're just getting warm right now. As for what he wants, I think that even Silas doesn't really know. It's like a nagging in the back of his mind. He wants to scare people because scaring people is fun, and the best way to scare people is X, Y, and Z. He's just laying out some groundwork and seeing what happens. This makes it a bit tough. The family avenue seems good (that is dramatic) but it doesn't seem like a "smart" thing for Silas to do at this point. Unless he thinks he is dealing with a normal kid who is growing too cocky, then it could work. Other thoughts were someone were someone who wanted Silas to stop showing the films he was showing or perhaps a halfway decent teacher that brought up concerns to Silas' concerned grandmother. Granted it should probably be something that either makes Aidan very uncomfortable or involve the others..Hurm Or else be exceptionally clever edit: also I need to figure out a better way to chart things. I'm trying to think of a good angle. Currently nothing connecting kaitlynn and Aidan, but waiting on that.  Also I think if you are a guy and your name starts with the letter "B" , you might be fucked. |

Yeah, Silas doesn't think that Aidan is anything other than just some guy. Some kinda-weird guy, but hey, he's not exactly one to judge. What the Shadow Man thinks of Aidan, on the other hand...well, that's between him and Shadow God.
Also got damn that character map.

He opened the letter. "My Dearest Friend , Aidan..." , Silas was fucking with him again. This time there was a photo attached, a clipped from a newspaper, of Mayor Bryce. On the back ,in red ink ,it stated
TELL
me
WHAT
he
SEES
Oddly to the point for the spirit kid. The photograph appeared to be from about fifteen to twenty years ago. There is another man in it, secret service type or some crap, lunging for him but Bryce is just standing still looking in the distance past the camera. The scene looked vaguely familiar but Aidan didn't immediately recall it. He knew a little about Bryce. He knew he use to be a reverend or some bullshit, the kind that "through God" could heal but he wasn't sure if that just was hearsay. All that seemed to disappear after he entered politics , y'know aside from the obligatory lipservice. |

so yeah, feel free to alter things slightly jt.. I thought it might be interesting to introduce a potential adversary.
I had the idea for the campanile recreation turned clocktower and this seemed to fit together. I was doing a bit of back and forth between having Aidan go after a "big fish" for Silas or Aidan family member. I sorta figured a threat for an undead dude ,namely Silas, would likely be a medic type who was in communication with their family. That seemed a bit mundane and I figured there was more than one doctor. I kinda figured faith healer seemed a bit cooler. Especially with the shadow persona in the picture.
That idea might be cooler. I had the sniper idea in my head already and figured add a bit more depth to the mayor and leave it ambiguous if he actually has any powers or not.

pick a family member, any family member, and tell me their fear. I'm cool with that.
Side observation-potentially building up an urban legend, perhaps?

Would probably have to make one of the core members chronically ill to make that fly. Which could be dramatastic.
Uncle could also work since he is kinda mysterious. Aunt to a lesser extent. Could also introduce a blacksheep of the family as a "Eli Sunday" type.

Going after a family member, being targeted by a faith healer. well I think it was going through my mind that Silas +shadow persona might actually ask for something that Aidan might actually/likely doing not pending weird circumstances. The idea was Aidan helping Silas destroy or potentially destroy a potentially decent /helpful person would weigh heavily on him and was something he might do if he didn't actually know. And obviously things aren't as black and white as Aidan sees things. hm
we could have it where he wants to know what scares Aidan's sister who has now fallen into a crowd worshiping a young local pastor (unbeknownst to the rest of the family). so Silas now has a hunger for Aidan's sister  that sounds like it would be more to your liking |

Hey, so
I've been meaning to post but I've been doing a bad job of that.
So, basically Keith can't participate which is a bummer cause he brings good game. Anywho,
We have three people left (you guys) so we can still play if people are interested.
We just have to excise Kaitlynn from everything.
Which is okay for the most part because Colleen, Aidan, and Silas were locked in a solid triangle and Kaitlynn was gonna get woven in once we got seating figured out. Instead, we can just lean on the triangle we have and pretend Kaitlynn doesn't exist.
So, Colleen needs to pick a new person whom she's seen in secret, cause it wasn't Kaitlynn fucking Amy now.
Um, yeah. Basically gimme a minute because MH and all *World games fall apart at the seams if someone steps out. I need to parse through our fanfiction and see what's still true and what isn't.

What Has Changed- Kaitlynn and Amy were never spotted by Colleen
- Aidan doesn't owe Kaitlynn a debt
- Amy may not be part of Kaitlynn's gang
- Amy may not have been dating Brad
- Amy may not have been fucking Kaitlynn
- Rumors started by Kaitlynn that Aidan killed his previous teacher may have never happened.
- Certain Characters may or may not exist: 14 Million Bastards (Crystal,Damon, Brit, and Angelique) , Kaitlynn's Other Gang Members (Tommy and Elissa) and Kaitlynn+Family (Parents and Joshua). Or they may just not be in the picture.
- Kaitlynn isn't around to see Silas as something to be feared.
- Kaitlynn and her family may or may not still live in Avery Hills but just not be in the Picture.
What Remains the Same- Colleen still wants to save Aidan
- Aidan still owes Silas and a Dark Power a debt
- Aidan saw Silas die
- Silas stole Colleen's pelt
- Colleen reminded Silas what love was
- Silas has a horror hard-on for Aidan's sister.
- Silas terrorized a likely bully named Brandon for Aidan
- Silas destroyed the reputation of a popular girl named Amy
- Aidan saved a boy named Grant from three Jocks for a soul named Henry
- Colleen was picked on by a schoolmate and housemate Brad and the Ocean "took him" for her.
