Our lord has a daughter who has recently come of age and is currently betrothed to a house (that we have been at war with for 12 seasons) in an effort for peace

Fair enough, Erik. I suppose that truth just implies that the daughter is such a looker that the chance of marrying her is enough to calm The Lord kicking down your province's gates? Or something to that effect

I'll be skipping that with the assumption te war is stalled because Wedding bells. You'll probably have a year off from war as the bride is prepared. Then, peace as long as no one fucks up the wedding
